It seems spring came a little early this year, as warm spring-like temperatures allowed visitors to enjoy the beauty of Falls Park before winter had officially passed on the calendar! Spring is always a busy time in Falls Park and this year is no different! Park employees have been busy preparing lawn and bed areas for visitors to enjoy. Soon winter annual plantings of pansies, violas, and parsley will give way to summer annual flowers such as begonias, lantana, and coleus; to name a few.

Spring also brings with it a busy special events schedule. Perennial favorites Reedy River Duck Derby, Artisphere, and USA Cycling Pro Championship headline the spring events calendar. Check the events schedule located under the "Events" tab to find out when these and other events are happening in Falls Park. Whether going for a bike ride on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, dining at one of two restaurants located in the park, or just enjoying a relaxing day with friends and family; there is something for everyone to enjoy at Falls Park on the Reedy!
