The City of Greenville Parks and Recreation Department provides a mobile recreation vehicle designed to increase opportunities for youth to participate in safe, quality, structured play and recreation in areas where services are not available. The vehicle, officially named “Mobi-Rec,” is the result of an innovative project led by nine members of the Fall 2012 Class (XIV) of the Diversity Leaders Initiative (DLI) Program. The vehicle is a 2013 Chevrolet Express 3500 commercial cutaway van outfitted with a variety of recreation equipment.
