Commission on Fire and Police Practices

The Commission on Fire and Police Practices addresses grievances of uniformed employees in the fire and police departments; hears concerns of members of the public about the conduct of firefighters and police officers and makes recommendations to City Council and the City Manager about practices and procedures in effect at the respective departments.

Applicants must be at least 30 years old and will be subject to a thorough reference check.
