City of Greenville offices will be closed on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24. There will be no residential trash, yard waste or recycling services on Thursday. Thursday pick-ups will be made on Friday.

Due to the construction at 200 E. Washington St., Spring St. between E. Washington St and E. McBee Ave will have lane shifts with limited lane widths. On Monday, May 15, Greenville Water and contractor Saluda Construction will begin a project to replace the water mains located under Mills Avenue, starting at Augusta Street and moving toward Henrydale Avenue. Construction is expected to last through the end of 2017 and there will be lane closures throughout the duration of the project, so please use caution when traveling in that area.
This temporary closure, for the purpose of completely utility improvements, is scheduled for two months. Access to local businesses will be maintained, via Japanese Dogwood Lane, Calvin Street, Webster Street, Vivian Street and East Broad Street. The section will be reopened Oct. 12-15 for Fall for Greenville.
